A leading engineering company in Palermo seeks a quality management professional to handle customer and internal claims. You will act as a bridge between customers and operations, managing quality assurance processes. The role requires a technical diploma or degree, and 2-3 years of relevant experience in quality management. Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Competenze

  • 2-3 years of experience in Quality Department and in Claims management.
  • English and Italian language is mandatory.
  • Ability to monitor and report KPI.

  • Manage and handle Customer Quality issues leading to problem solving.
  • Coordinate team during root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.

Summary : This candidate will manage customer and internal claims, being the link between the Customer and the Operations departments and managing Quality Assurance and Quality topics.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and handle Customers Quality issues leading the problem solving process and releasing reports (8D Report, A3 Report, Chicago, 5 Why, etc), by coordinating the team during root cause analysis, definition and implementation of corrective actions, until the effectiveness verification and the closure.
  • Manage the link between Customer and Operations departments by improving the Quality Assurance and internal processes with team.
  • Monitor and report KPI and provide regular trend analysis.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma with a technical specialization or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing Engineering
  • Previous 2-3 years of experience in Quality Department and in Claims management
  • Good knowledge of mechanical drawing
  • Experience working with Suppliers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Process improvement and Quality Assurance
  • Statistical knowledge
  • English and Italian language is mandatory
  • Problem solving skills
  • Driving for results and measurements capability
