We offer a role as Quality Engineer, who will be based in Aliaxis Casella (GE) and will report to the Plant Quality & Material Manager.

The candidate will ensure products and processes meet national, international and company standards, in compliance with current regulations and customer specifications, by implementing quality control measures, identifying issues, and recommending solutions. He/she will test products, systems, and procedures, document findings, and communicate with other departments to resolve quality-related problems. He/she will also be responsible for carrying out KPI analyses and statistical reports about the quality level of both internal and external production, in order to support the Company in terms of efficiency and cost reduction.

Responsibilities
  • Application and management of the most common problem-solving tools (i.e., FMEA, RCA, 8D, etc.) to ensure continuous quality improvement
  • Drafting of quality standards, test methods, procedures and instructions for the key activities
  • Identification and monitoring of quality KPIs to verify the adherence to standards
  • Identification, assessment and management of production bottlenecks (internal and external) for improving the plant efficiency and enhancing quality, in strict collaboration with the departments involved
  • Identification and assignment of quality issues, including defects, malfunctions, and productivity problems, with the final aim to implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Inspection and testing of components/finished products to verify the adherence to both the standards and the internal procedures
  • Recording quality tests, inspections, and corrective actions, in order to generate reports on quality performance.
  • Drafting of reports and data processing, with the aim of identifying any problems or inefficiencies in the production process, suggesting possible improvements Tools and metrological management under ISO9001
  • Communication and collaboration with various departments (i.e., Engineering, R&D, Production, Customer Service) to address the quality concerns, proposing solutions and implementing improvements.
Qualifications
  • Technical degree
  • Strong understanding of quality management principles, statistical process control, and other quality tools and
  • Experience in a similar role related to quality control and quality assurance
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong understanding of the problem-solving approach and related tools
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and other quality management frameworks
  • Familiarity with office automation
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve quality goals
