ConSol Partners is assisting a confidential Italian manufacturer in Umbria to recruit a senior Quality Control Manager for aerospace manufacturing. You will lead the quality control function, oversee inspection, and drive conformity and traceability across production.
The role demands a technical background, leadership of QC Inspectors, and close collaboration with engineering, production and suppliers to ensure products meet stringent quality standards.
Location: Umbria, Italy
Employment type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: €50,000–€70,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience and seniority.
We are supporting a confidential, established Italian manufacturing business with the appointment of a senior Quality Control Manager.
The organisation operates within a technically demanding manufacturing environment where product quality, traceability, inspection and conformity are critical.
This is a senior position with responsibility for the Quality Control function, product inspection activities, non-conformity management and product conformity certification.
The successful candidate will lead the Quality Control team and work closely with production, engineering, suppliers and other internal functions to ensure that manufactured products consistently meet the required technical and quality standards.
As Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that product quality-control activities are effectively planned, performed and documented.
You will manage the Quality Control Inspectors and ensure inspection resources are allocated effectively across the manufacturing operation.
A particularly important aspect of the position is responsibility for the Certificate of Conformity (COC) and ensuring that the necessary inspection, testing and documentation requirements have been satisfied before product conformity is formally certified.
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong quality professional with approximately 7–10 years of relevant industry experience, although more experienced candidates will be considered for the right position.
Experience within aerospace or aeronautical manufacturing would be highly advantageous.
Candidates from other structured manufacturing environments may also be considered where they have worked with comparable levels of product quality, process control, traceability and technical compliance.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a key Quality Control function within an established and technically sophisticated manufacturing organisation.
The position offers the opportunity to combine technical quality responsibility with team leadership, working closely with manufacturing and engineering and having a direct influence on product conformity and continuous improvement.
The identity of the hiring organisation will be shared with suitably qualified candidates as part of the confidential recruitment process.
If you have a strong Quality Control background within aerospace, metalworking, precision manufacturing or another highly structured manufacturing environment, we would welcome a confidential discussion.
