Overview

Quality Assurance Engineer, DC Design Engineering. Job ID: 3108072 | Amazon Data Services Ireland Limited. AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure continual access to the cloud. We’re looking for talented people to help tackle challenging problems with numerous variables impacting the supply chain. This role is part of a global engineering team and involves collaboration with Architects, Structural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Control Engineers, Design Managers, external engineering resources, and regulatory agencies.

AWS self-performs engineering on the majority of our capacity delivery projects. You will have impact on the design direction and ability to improve design delivery for an entire region, while establishing design procedures and protocols for future systems. This position focuses on developing and maintaining high-quality design documentation and procedures to support safe, secure, and compliant data center projects.

As the Quality Engineer you will perform quality assurance and quality control reviews, track and manage design drawings, specifications, and documents prepared during the engineering design process to ensure regulatory, legal, and security compliance. You will work with internal teams such as Engineering, Power and Cooling (PAC), Security, Controls, and Commissioning, and will communicate with external stakeholder design consultants.
