As a QA/QC Site Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of structured cabling and fibre installations on‑site. Reporting to the QA Manager, you will be responsible for leading inspection, monitoring, and verification activities to meet client requirements and project specifications. This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced construction environment.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, clients, and contractors to support timely handover and resolution of quality issues, ensuring all QA/QC activities align with project deadlines and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop First‑Of‑Kinds and submit to client for approval of structured cabling and fibre optic cabling scope
  • Complete inspection of CET structured cabling install, fibre cabling install, structured cabling terminations and fibre cabling splicing
  • Maintain inspection records of CET works using bespoke CET processes and systems
  • Liaise with Clients/Electrical contractors on submission of QA Inspection records in a timely manner in line with yellow tag dates
  • Close out queries on equipment with CET team and Client which may impact on CET progress
  • Carry out regular surveillance inspections of construction activities and record all identified snags in CET’s bespoke QA system
  • Work with the QA and Construction team to implement corrective and preventative actions in line with snag lists from CET bespoke QA Systems
  • Regularly monitor and report on the progress of snag closure, coordinating with the construction team to ensure timely resolution and effective prioritisation
  • Work with the CET construction team to communicate best practices, mock‑ups and First‑of‑Kinds to ensure consistent quality is achieved
  • Assist in completion and delivery of monthly and weekly QA audits, toolbox talks and reports as required
  • Ensure that QA activities are tracked to completion to achieve project deadlines
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar QA/QC inspection or site‑based leadership role
  • Self‑motivated with strong commitment to meeting project deadlines
  • Able to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, sometimes high‑pressure environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite, in particular Excel
  • Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret room layout drawings and cut sheets
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, support, and motivate others in a team environment
  • Previous experience with electrical works in a data centre/construction environment is desirable but not required
