Job summary

Ecuphar Italia S.r.l., part of Animalcare Group, is seeking a QA Officer in Italy to join our Quality team. You will maintain and improve the Quality Management System, ensure regulatory compliance, and support quality initiatives across manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.

The ideal candidate holds a Life Sciences degree with at least 2 years in pharma QA, has strong GMP/GDP knowledge, and fluent Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, GMP and/or GDP environments.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical quality systems and compliance requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for audits and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage deviations, complaints, change controls and CAPA activities.
• Coordinate and participate in internal and external audits.
• Manage supplier and customer qualification processes.
• Support product quality reviews, stability studies and recall activities.
• Prepare and maintain Quality Technical Agreements (QTAs).
• Provide quality oversight for manufacturing, warehousing and distribution activities.
• Support training initiatives and promote a strong quality culture.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional with pharmaceutical experience who is passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic international environment.

Your Responsibilities

As QA Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Managing deviations, complaints, change controls and CAPA activities
• Coordinating and participating in internal and external audits
• Managing supplier and customer qualification processes
• Supporting product quality reviews, stability studies and recall activities
• Preparing and maintaining Quality Technical Agreements (QTAs)
