An innovative educational institution in Vicenza is looking for a PYP Italian and English Language Support Collaborator to join their team starting October 2025. Ideal candidates will hold a relevant degree and teacher qualification, possess fluent English and Italian skills, and demonstrate a passion for teaching. This role requires establishing engaging classroom environments and using diverse methodologies to support student growth. A collaboration contract is offered.

Qualifications

Qualifications requested: A relevant bachelor’s degree and teacher qualification.

Right to work in Italy (EU passport or valid Italian work VISA).

Immaculate police check(s).

Contract Duration: Collaboration Contract.

Experience Specialist skills & knowledge. Fluent level English and Italian: reading, speaking, writing (Common European Framework of Reference - CEFR level C1-C2).

Job description - Classroom teaching responsibilities

Establish classroom environments that are creative, focused, engaging and which embody IB philosophy and the mission statement of the school.

Use flexible teaching methodologies that engage students with diverse learning styles.

Lead by example, demonstrate the IB learner profile in action and guide students towards becoming open-minded, compassionate, thoughtful learners with a global perspective.

Assess and respond to student abilities and progress, adapting their approach with different teaching styles.

Effective use of the learning management system.

Set and mark students’ work accurately and promptly, giving guidance and work according to their needs, supporting their development and progression. Provide regular and supportive feedback to students and parents. Support students' personal development and wellbeing and seek support from the School Counsellor and Programme Heads where welfare concerns are identified.
