Hitachi Rail is seeking an experienced professional to oversee power supply and traction power interfaces across subsystems for rail power initiatives. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery while meeting quality standards.

You’ll coordinate with the Commissioning Manager to plan tests on site and verify PS & TP documents according to the V&V plan. Responsibilities include identifying PS & TP interfaces with main subsystems, ensuring delivery

Competenze

• 3-5 years related experience.
• Experience in power supply & traction power projects, especially Metro Rail projects.
• 1+ year of experience in railway systems, traction power & power supply design & commissioning activities.
• English Proficiency.

Mansioni

• Identify and resolve PS & TP interfaces with main subsystems (e.g., Signalling, CW, Auxiliary systems)
• Ensure system delivery complies with engineering guidelines, quality standards, timing and cost constraints
• Interface with the Commissioning Manager to plan and coordinate on-site tests according to schedule
• Perform verification activities on Power Supply & Traction Power documents per the V&V Plan
• Test and report results, issue non-conformances per quality procedures and drive corrective actions
• Support capitalization and sharing of knowledge on PS & TP (best practices, lessons learned)

Experteer Overview
In this role, you will contribute to Hitachi Rail’s railPower initiatives by overseeing power supply and traction power interfaces across subsystems. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery while meeting quality standards. You’ll coordinate with the Commissioning Manager to plan tests on site and verify PS & TP documents according to the V&V plan. You will also drive test execution, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing to build a strong power systems capability. This position offers a meaningful opportunity to help modernize rail systems and support sustainable mobility at scale.
