Tyvak International is seeking new members to join their team to support space vehicle development. Tyvak focuses on developing and integrating key components and technologies into highly integrated and high-performance nano-satellite vehicles. The team’s skillset ranges from architecture, design, build, and test of mechanical, electrical, and software subsystems integrated into small spacecraft.

Tyvak International, a Terran Orbital company, is seeking a brilliant, smart and outstanding Proposal Manager to join our growing team in Turin, Italy. The ideal candidate will coordinate and write winning proposals for government agencies and commercial clients in the space sector. The Proposal Manager is typically involved from the early bidding phase and supports the process up to the final negotiation stages.

The role requires a proven ability to plan, produce, and deliver compliant proposals within a complex corporate environment. The candidate must be capable of working at a high networking standard within the organization, under pressure, and with tight deadlines.

The candidate will report directly to the VP of Programs and Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed proposal documentation through meticulous analysis of customer requirements, costs, and using customer-focused narratives aligned with the proposed solution.
  • Manage and oversee the entire proposal development from draft request phase to final proposal reviews, ensuring the final package complies with customer requirements.
  • Refine and enhance proposal content, both technical and programmatic, to ensure clarity, coherence, and a persuasive tone.
  • Ensure adherence to internal proposal timelines, managing the review and approval process efficiently.
  • Foster seamless collaboration across multiple departments, including engineering, pricing, finance, and risk assessment, to optimize proposal quality and feasibility.
  • Establish and support accurate internal cost and effort estimation processes.
  • Handle a diverse range of proposals within the space industry.
  • Proactively identify and monitor institutional funding opportunities and competitive tenders.
  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering or related technical fields
  • Over 2 years of experience in proposal management, preferably in the aerospace sector.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with high precision and standards.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple proposals even when the process and/or outcome are not standard.
  • Capability to work successfully under tight schedules and in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with standard industry proposal processes.

Must-Have:

  • Experience in bid preparation for ESA/ASI.
  • Strong proficiency in ECOS for proposal submissions and management.
  • Familiarity with national and European tender submission procedures.
  • Hands-on experience with ESA ITT portals and related submission tools.

Salary and benefits are EU market competitive and include Welfare, Benefits, Private Insurance, Flexible working Hours.

The gross annual salary (RAL) will be commensurate with the candidate's level of seniority, expertise, and overall contribution to the role, ensuring a fair and competitive package.
