A leading transportation company in Florence is seeking a Project Quality & Safety Manager to oversee quality assurance and ensure safety protocols are met throughout projects. The ideal candidate will have a Master or Bachelor Engineering degree and previous quality-related experience. Fluency in English and strong problem-solving abilities are essential. The Project Quality Engineer will be in charge of ensure the project quality and safety assurance on the project and coordinate all quality and safety activities throughout the project, ensure consistency between the project QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) objectives and the Customer's satisfaction. In detail:

Customer and management

• Be the interface with the Customer quality and safety teams
• Define and monitor correct execution of the project quality plan
• Establish the Project Quality plan and ensure the proper application
• Support the project teams mainly the PM to prepare gate reviews & follow up related action plans
• Report quality and safety alerts
• Ensure quality of the modifications made during the project
• Ensure REX process within the project
• Ensure that safety assessment is correctly implemented (ie : safety review) and prepare safety authorization.
• Control project deliverables compliance through inspection and audits - to authorize presentation / delivery to customer
• support quality check and audit on field.

Improve

• Manage Non conformities and Safety issues and animate problem solving during project execution phase to reduce the costs of non quality
• Support root cause analisys of additional Baseline / Gate review NOGO / 8D to identify preventive actions
• Measure and improve project quality performance
• Improve the efficiency of quality teams to reduce the function costs

Requirements:

• Master or Bachelor Engineering degree
• Previous experience in quality roles
• Good spoken and written english
