Project Quality Manager (Turbomachinery & Process Solutions)

Join Baker Hughes as a Project Quality Manager (Turbomachinery & Process Solutions) and lead the quality requirements for innovative energy products across 120 countries.

Responsibilities
  • Create quality plans using the standard template and incorporate customer quality, technical regulation and product certification requirements.
  • Own the quality requirements to ensure effective project execution, establish adequate quality surveillance and risk mitigation plans.
  • Manage the non-conformance and concessions approval process to maintain compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to share project-related information and build effective relationships.
  • Prepare and present quality performance reporting to internal leadership and customers.
  • Monitor the punch list during the scope of supply execution to achieve zero punch list at shipment.
  • Drive on-time delivery of quality documents and certification books to customers.
  • Feed continuous learning and nurture the Lesson Learned process and its application.
Qualifications
  • Hold an appropriate level of qualification in Project Management, Engineering or Quality Management (a Master’s degree is recommended).
  • Show solid experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control processes and their application.
  • Be willing to travel to manufacturing locations and be flexible to customer demands (available to travel on short notice).
  • Demonstrate good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Possess analytical and reporting skills and an understanding and experience of problem-solving methodology and continuous improvement.
  • Be fluent in English and Italian.
  • Have Quality auditor training & qualification (desired).
  • Exploit previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry (desired).
