Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our team in Diano d’Alba. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and reporting of Automation & Service projects, ensuring alignment between customers, suppliers, and internal teams. You will play a key part in project execution from kick-off through handover, supporting documentation, communication, and follow-up activities across the project lifecycle.

This position requires strong organizational capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a problem-solving mindset. You will closely collaborate with the AUT Service Project team, Field Service teams, customers, and class societies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain reporting documentation for both customer and supplier activities
  • Update weekly GANTT schedules and conduct bi-weekly EAC (Estimate at Completion) follow-ups
  • Support class register documentation and practices
  • Facilitate communication with customers and coordinate activities accordingly
  • Prepare structured technical and commercial reports, including negotiation support for Extra Orders
  • Conduct internal reporting and handover preparation for the warranty department
  • Coordinate technicians in collaboration with the AUT Service Project team and Field Service teams
  • Lead project kick-off meetings and provide daily updates to customers
  • Ensure structured documentation and adherence to project requirements throughout execution
Key Requirements
  • Educational background: Scientific or Classical high-school diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong organisational skills with a structured and reliable work approach
  • Open-minded, proactive, and solution-oriented attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to interact across all organisational levels and build connections
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Comfortable working in a global environment and coordinating multiple stakeholders
  • High level of initiative, accountability, and motivation to reach project goals
