Job summary

Capco is expanding its Italian office and seeks a Project Manager to drive success across full project lifecycles in the Financial Services sector. You will define roadmaps, plan milestones, allocate resources, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while reporting to stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have significant FS project management experience, familiarity with consulting environments, and strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills. Hybrid work is available in Milano.

Qualifications

• Significant project management experience in the Financial Services industry.
• Experience working for a management or technology consulting firm is highly desired with Financial Services clients.
• Knowledge of agile/scrum, and waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining strategic roadmaps and objectives across client projects and programmes.
• Create project plans including milestones, deadlines and resource allocation.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget per defined success criteria.
• Communicate project status and report to business stakeholders.
• Ensure rollout strategy and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to project management tools and methodologies within the team.
• Collaborate with clients, product owners and teams to ensure quality delivery.

Role Description

A Capco Project Manager is an agent of change with accountability for driving success over a full project or programme lifecycle. The Project Manager designs, plans and implements projects and programmes, either standalone or as part of a larger programme, or programmes according to scope, targets and objectives set for time of delivery, budget and quality.

You will:

• Assist in defining strategic roadmaps and objectives across client projects and programmes, defining project scope and goals, within the Financial Services industry
• Create project plans including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines and allocating resources
• Successful project/programme delivery in line with the defined success criteria and set goals
• Effectively and consistently project/programme communications and reporting to the business stakeholders
• Ensure an appropriate roll-out strategy and engagement
• Contribution and ongoing improvement of the project management tools and methodology (as part of the project management community)
• Partner with clients, product owners and project teams to ensure on-time, and on-budget, quality delivery
• Perform quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected

Skills and Experience

• Significant project management experience and knowledge of the Financial Services industry
• Experience working for a management and/or technology consulting firm is highly desired (with Financial Services clients)
• Knowledge of various project management methodologies (agile/scrum, waterfall, etc.)
• Experience working on and leading implementation projects
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Great influencing skills and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience with project management tools (Jira, Rally, Confluence, Trello, etc.)

Pay Transparency

Capco is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation to our people. Our compensation policies are designed to allow our people to progress through our defined salary range over time as they progress in their role.

The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is from €29.000. The final offer could be higher to reflect the candidate’s experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.

Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable bonus payment.
