A leading software development company is seeking a Software Tester for a remote role on an initial 6-month contract. You will be responsible for managing testing activities, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring high quality standards. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in software testing and project management, and proficiency in automation tools. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor the testing activities of multiple projects
• Coordinate with the development, business analysis, and client teams to define the testing scope, schedule, and deliverables
• Manage the testing resources, tools, and processes
• Report and escalate the testing issues, risks, and status to the stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with the testing best practices and methodologies

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in software testing
• Proficiency in automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, etc.
• Experience in functional testing, including manual and exploratory testing
• Fluency in Italian and English, and ideally a third language
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• One or more of the following certifications or qualifications:
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
• Google Project Management: Professional Certification
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Professional Scrum Master
