Overview

Role : EPC Project Manager | Solar / BESS

Location: Milan (Hybrid) | Salary: €55,000 to €70,000

Overview : We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading renewable energy company in Milan. The role requires an engineering background and proven experience in the construction of utility-scale solar assets in Italy. This position offers the chance to be part of an international team delivering some of the country’s most ambitious renewable energy projects, with a pipeline of over 3GW and individual solar farms over 50MW. You would be working at the centre of one of Italy’s largest and fastest-growing IPPs, supporting the energy transition with strong career development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage utility scale projects from inception to completion, ensuring schedules, budgets and scope are adhered to.
• Collaborate with design and engineering teams to review key documents from clients and developers.
• Support with budget control, contract management and QHSE standards.
• Develop and track detailed programme of works (PoW).
• Perform site surveys to establish local conditions, design constraints and supply costs.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience managing utility-scale solar construction.
• Proven track record leading construction teams and monitoring budgets & timelines.
• A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. Masters Degree is a plus.
• Excellent Italian and English language skills.
• PMP / MBA qualification is considered an advantage.
