We're working with a globally leading renewable energy developer who is looking to hire a Project Manager to join their established team in Milan. This role will take ownership of projects across Italy, managing them from early development through to construction and operation. You'll be responsible for coordinating internal teams and external partners to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. The position offers a broad scope across technical, commercial and permitting activities, making it well suited to someone looking for an autonomous, hands‑on role within a growing business.
Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of renewable energy projects from development to completion. Oversee EPC contractors, suppliers and consultants throughout design, construction and commissioning phases. Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules and progress reports. Ensure compliance with HSE, quality and environmental standards. Coordinate with development, finance, legal and operations teams to ensure alignment across all project stages. Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies. Support continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives to optimise project delivery.
Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field. Proven experience managing or coordinating renewable energy or infrastructure projects in Italy. Strong understanding of construction processes, permitting and stakeholder management. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Fluent in Italian and English. Based in or open to relocating to Milan, with flexibility for hybrid working.
