Ideal candidates will have a mechanical engineering degree and over 5 years in technical management, preferably in energy, oil & gas. Fluency in English is essential, and other languages are a plus. • 5+ years’ experience in technical management of projects in energy, oil & gas or similar sectors.
• Good knowledge on rotating and static equipment, ideally with industrial plant construction experience.

Job Description

• Preparation of engineering documentation for internal (purchasing, construction site) and external partners (client, consortium partners, subcontractors)
• Takes ownership for the on time, on quality and on budget of the dedicated purchasing lots and engineering deliverables
• Leads an engineering team with responsibility for the functionality of the work package scope
• Negotiations with suppliers, monitoring and controlling progress, planning resources and ensuring communication within the team (Zurich and in other countries)
• Achievement of the sub-project objective in terms of time, quality and financial aspects

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years’ experience in technical management of projects in energy, oil & gas or similar sectors
• Good mechanical & process knowledge on rotating and static equipment and ideally experience in industrial plant construction
• Team‑leading/collaboration, negotiation skills and resilience
• Fluency in English, Italian or other languages are an advantage
