A leading cabling solutions provider in Milano is looking for a Project Environmental Specialist to support environmental activities in project phases, prepare documentation, and verify compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in environmental management, an ISO 14001 certification, and is proficient in English. This position offers a permanent contract and a hybrid working model with various benefits.

Your Contribution To Prysmian's Success

You will:

  • Support environmental aspects in proposal phase and during project execution/completion.
  • Prepare project environmental documentation, like waste management plan, construction environmental management plan, spill management plan, etc.
  • Assist company functions and project teams in dealing with clients in all environmental issues.
  • Verify that all HSE activities at project level are carried on in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, client requirements, international standards, ISO 14001 and company Environmental and Safety Standards, including suppliers/subcontractors.
  • Prepare analysis of the requirements identified in environmental impact assessment, permits and licenses and develop all environmental deliverable required at project level.
  • Assist project team in risk management process for the identification of environmental risks and environmental aspect register (i.e. HAZID).
  • Conduct environmental accidents/incidents investigation, including near miss, and carry out analysis of accident/incident statistics, identifying trends and lessons learned and suggesting improvement plans at a project level.
  • Conduct ISO 14001 environmental and legal audits both internal and external (tender and project phases) and relevant follow up.
  • Help in developing strategies to innovate and improve environmental performances.
  • Endorse activities to enhance biodiversity at project level.
  • Review Environmental KPIs at project level, including subcontractors’ performance and their evaluation.
  • Check environmental related requirements in contracts, including permitting.
  • Verify fleet’s environmental needs and MARPOL requirements, with a particular focus on oil consumption and waste and chemical management.

  • 2 years’ experience in environmental management at site level.

  • Good knowledge of English language.
