Project Engineer – Subsea Production Systems

We devise smarter systems to control and monitor oil and gas extraction. Innovating in the energy industry, our subsea and surface pressure capabilities are industry-leading. We manufacture an innovative, market leading sub‑sea production systems for the Oil and Gas market for off‑shore facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinating MDC product lines engineering activities to achieve overall budget, on‑time execution and delivery targets.
  • Being accountable for the detailed engineering integrated planning and execution to the plan.
  • Leading project scheduled reviews that track through KPIs progress and spending/productivity by the teams.
  • Monitoring, explaining and resolving any deviations from the early baseline on the S‑curve for engineering.
  • Drive on‑time delivery through regular meetings and detailed team engagement.
  • Issue and approve manpower needed to execute to the schedule and any additional scope that enters the projects.
  • Managing the cost and the resource plan and establishing cost analysis based on tasks and milestones. Track and trend all engineering spending as required and necessary.
  • Tracking efficiency factors on projects and forecast project impacts based on changes in efficiency. Take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Utilizing the Technical Control Board to resolve issues and collaborate within the engineering product lines.
  • Leading TQP’s/FMECA’s coordination and support, including the budget and key milestones in plan.
Qualifications
  • Have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with previous experience in project engineering and/or project management).
  • Possess previous experience in positions as project engineering, system engineering, project management or process improvements.
  • Be a change agent with strong credibility and influence in the organization and project teams.
  • Be resilient & persistent under all circumstances; working to heavy workloads as they arise, maintaining deliverables on time and with executive-level presentation skills.
  • Be able to motivate others and achieve results.
