About This Job

This role suits a technically strong Project Engineer with renewables experience, based in Madrid or Milan. You’ll contribute to BESS project delivery across key European markets, including Italy (~110 MW/450 MWh under construction, ~3 GW in development) and Spain (~2.5 GW pipeline).

Expect hands‑on involvement from design through commissioning, interfacing with EPC contractors, TSOs, and grid operators in a fast‑paced, high‑performing environment.

Your Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning for BESS projects.
• Review technical documentation, ensure grid/HSE compliance, and manage interfaces with contractors/suppliers.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, risks, and performance; identify optimisation opportunities.
• Liaise with TSOs/grid operators and cross‑functional teams on multi‑market projects.
• Support tendering, site activities, and handover processes.

What You Bring

• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 3–6 years in renewables (must‑have), ideally BESS, solar, wind, or grid projects; TSO experience a strong plus.
• Energetic, ambitious profile with deep technical skills and problem‑solving drive.
• EU work eligibility; fluent English (Spanish/Italian advantageous).
