Project Engineer – PV Industry

Location: Remote (Italy)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Project Engineer to join a leading international provider of innovative photovoltaic (PV) solutions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of on‑site project execution, ensuring high‑quality installations and client satisfaction across diverse PV projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of on‑site project management tasks, including material inspection, technical briefings, installation training, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide on‑site guidance for bracket installation and monitor project progress, addressing installation challenges promptly in collaboration with clients and installation teams.
  • Work closely with project managers to ensure installation quality and respond effectively to installation feedback.
  • Manage material transfers to the site, support project delivery inspections, and assist with resolving project‑related financial matters.
  • Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients, fully understand their requirements, and execute on‑site debugging and acceptance procedures with diligence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the photovoltaic (PV) industry is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in office software and strong command of English.
  • Strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, excellent communication and coordination skills, adaptability, resilience under pressure, and a proactive, solution‑oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to undertake frequent and long‑term business travel.
