Job summary

The Member Company in Modena, Italy, is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate the technical aspects of automated warehouses, including stacker cranes, shuttles, conveyors, AMR/AGV, sorters and picking systems. • Analyze client specifications and translate them into technical solutions, layouts, and warehouse workflows
• Prepare and manage project technical documentation: functional specifications, layouts, material lists, integration diagrams
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and software engineering activities (PLC, WMS/WCS) and their integration
• Manage the technical progress of the project, monitoring milestones, budget, and risks alongside the Area Manager
• Interface with suppliers and subcontractors, verifying technical compliance
• Handle changes during execution (change requests) and update as-built documentation
• Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards (Machinery Directive, CE marking, industry norms)
