Who We’re Looking For
  • Project Planning & Design : Define electrical scope and requirements for rolling stock projects, leading the design and development of onboard electrical systems and specifications.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and propose optimal technical solutions aligned with cost, safety, and industry standards.
  • Implementation & Supervision : Oversee installation, integration, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems across train projects.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, conducting on‑site inspections and resolving technical issues.
  • Risk & Quality Assurance : Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
  • Perform quality checks to prevent non‑conformities and project delays.
  • Cost & Resource Control : Contribute to budgeting, cost estimation, and resource planning.
  • Monitor expenditures and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Documentation & Reporting : Maintain accurate technical documentation, drawings, and compliance reports.
  • Prepare regular progress updates and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Safety & Compliance : Ensure all engineering activities meet railway regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in rolling stock or railway electrical systems
  • Knowledge of TSIs, EN, IEC, and railway‑specific standards
  • Experience with electrical design software
  • Familiarity with project management tools
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Professional Engineering License (preferred but not mandatory)
