A leading logistics provider in Italy is seeking a Project Engineer to enhance warehouse efficiency through innovative technologies. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in STEM, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and fluency in English and Italian. This role offers growth in automation and digitalization projects within a dynamic team environment.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technological and operational solutions to optimize warehouse efficiency for the most important customer into Consumer and Healthcare sector. This role will work closely with IT and operations teams to design and develop advanced technologies, fostering a data-driven, high-performance work environment.
The Project Engineer will be included in the engineering team focused on consumer, gross distribution and healthcare sectors. It is a strategic role for assessing and implementing innovations, delivering tangible improvement in line with the industry advancements. They will serve as the point of contact among various internal teams, gathering requirements and listening to colleagues' needs to create effective solutions aligned with the company's goals.
At least 3 years' experience in the management of continuous improvement and automation projects in the logistics and non-logistics sector, in / for multinational or Italian companies.
Cross-functional operations experience (including engineering, solution design, customer support, professional services, managed services, or other operational areas). Solid skills in process analysis.
Excellent organizational, analytical and managerial skills, teamwork orientation, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with various stakeholders with cultural diversity in an international organization.
