Competenze

Your Mission

As PV Project Developer you will coordinate with other Operations team members, Sales team and external partners for the design and realization of C&I PV projects, playing a key role in maintaining a high operability and profitability of GY in Italy.

A few examples of your responsibilities
  • Lead feasibility studies and energy yield analyses for cutting‑edge PV systems (0.5–10 MWp) — turning sunlight into solid business potential.
  • Design next‑generation solar solutions: from system sizing and technology selection to material specification and budget definition — all tailored for performance and profitability.
  • Collaborate with EPC partners, technical advisors, and suppliers to challenge assumptions, validate designs, and craft optimized project outcomes.
  • Ensure full compliance with local and national regulations, technical standards, and grid connection requirements — guaranteeing projects that perform and endure.
  • Empower the Sales team by identifying and developing new business opportunities through strategic partnerships and market insights.
  • Partner with the M&A team to drive technical due diligence — from CAPEX / OPEX evaluations to unlocking the true value of potential acquisitions.
  • Bridge the gap between technical precision, commercial ambition, and regulatory compliance — ensuring every project hits its full potential.
  • Oversee seamless documentation and handover processes, keeping all stakeholders aligned and projects moving smoothly forward.
  • Champion GreenYellow’s HSE Golden Rules and standards — because safety and sustainability always come first.
  • Continuously enhance internal design standards, tools, and processes — driving innovation and excellence across every project.
What we look for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 3+ years of professional experience from a similar role ideally within the solar power industry.
  • PV guy. Good technical understanding of PV technology, rooftop PV knowledge will be a plus. Know‑how of Italian C&I PV regulation.
  • Design / monitoring tools (Autocad, Pvsyst, CMMS, etc.) with MS Office proficiency.
  • Interpersonal skills. Ability to identify customer needs, proven competences in managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
  • Reasoning ability. Given the necessary knowledge, you can solve complex problems. You think from first principles, and structure your ideas sharply. You resist the influence of biases. You identify and take care of the details that matter.
