A multinational engineering company is seeking a Project Control Manager/Project Control Engineer in Milan, Italy. The role involves leading a team, managing project schedules and costs, and ensuring effective documentation in EPC projects in the Oil&Gas sector. Candidates should have a degree in engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, along with familiarity with Primavera P6 and SAP.

Competenze

Overview

Saipem is looking for a Project Control Manager/Project Control Engineer, who will be responsible for planning, cost control, documentation management and risk management for an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) project in the Oil&Gas and/or plant engineering sector. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in complex projects and should be able to work effectively both in a Home-Office phase in Milan and on site in Italy.

Responsibilities
  • Coordination of a team of 4-6 Project Control resources.
  • Development and management of project schedule, including definition of activities, critical paths, project milestones and required resources.
  • Monitoring and controlling project costs, including estimating at completion, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Management of project documentation, ensuring its accuracy and availability.
  • Supporting the identification, assessment and management of project risks, developing appropriate mitigation plans and preparation of project progress reports and presentations to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Master or Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or equivalent disciplines.
  • Knowledge of English language: B1/B2 or above.
  • Years of experience: At least 5 years in Project Control in EPC projects in the Oil&Gas and/or plant engineering sector.
  • IT skills: Knowledge of Project Control software (Primavera P6, SAP).
  • Soft skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders at different levels.
  • Nice to have: Previous experience in Italian construction sites.
Location & Additional Information

Location: Milan (MI), Italy. Availability for transfers is required.
