Descrizione del lavoro

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the start‑up, testing, and commissioning of industrial automation systems and plants at customer sites. He/she will collaborate with the design, development, and installation teams to ensure that the implemented solutions comply with technical standards and customer requirements.

Your tasks
  • Perform functional testing and acceptance of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, sensors, actuators, etc.).
  • Manage on‑site commissioning activities, including supervising installation and verifying technical compliance with system specifications.
  • Prepare technical and testing documentation, start‑up and functional test reports.
  • Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Support the design and installation team in the pre‑commissioning phase.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations during field activities.
  • Provide technical training to customer personnel on the use of installed systems.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
  • At least 2‑3 years’ experience in a similar role in the industrial automation sector, preferably in intralogistics automation.
  • In‑depth knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., B&R, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider), SCADA, industrial networks, wired signal interfaces or shared DBs.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Availability for national and international travel.
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
  • Problem solving, autonomous operation, and customer focus.
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project (preferred).
  • Good teamwork skills.
