The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for the start-up, testing, and commissioning of industrial automation systems and plants at customer sites.
He / she will collaborate with the design, development, and installation teams to ensure that the implemented solutions comply with technical standards and customer requirements.
Your tasks
- Perform functional testing and acceptance of automation systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI, sensors, actuators, etc.).
- Manage on‑site commissioning activities, including supervising installation and verifying technical compliance with system specifications.
- Prepare technical and testing documentation, start‑up and functional test reports.
- Interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support the design and installation team in the pre‑commissioning phase.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations during field activities.
- Provide technical training to customer personnel on the use of installed systems.
Your profile
- Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role in the industrial automation sector, preferably in intralogistics automation.
- In-depth knowledge of PLC systems (e.g., B&R, Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider), SCADA, industrial networks, wired signal interfaces or shared DBs.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Availability for national and international travel.
- Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
- Problem solving, autonomous operation, and customer focus.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD (preferred)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project (preferred)
- Good teamwork skills
