IOM is recruiting for a Project Assistant – Family Reunification in Rome. You will assist in implementing the family reunification project, coordinating data collection, and liaising with Italian authorities to ensure compliant processes.
We seek candidates with experience in migration, data analytics, and proficiency with MS Office and visualization tools. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with additional languages a plus.

Under the general supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) of Country Office (CO) w/ Coord Functions for Mediterranean (COMED) and the direct supervision of the Project Manager, the Project Assistant – Family Reunification will be responsible and accountable for assisting in carrying out operational tasks relating to the implementation of the Family Reunification project in accordance with established procedures and under regular guidance from the supervisor.
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
All IOM staff members in all categories are required to be fluent in one of the IOM's official languages (English, French, Spanish).
For this position, fluency in Italian and English is required (oral and written).
Working knowledge of French, Arabic, Tigrina, Somali, Urdu is desirable.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
