Job description

Job ID: 10577704 | Amazon Italia Transport Srl

EU Ops Sustainability is looking for a Sustainability Program Manager to support energy efficiency programs across all miles. In this role, you will own strategic, tactical, and cross-functional projects and programs within the STEP organization to meet sustainability goals. You will work day-to-day with cross-functional partners including RME, Finance, Real Estate, Design & Construction (D&C), and IT to deliver measurable energy and carbon reductions. You will also have the opportunity to work with selected start-ups through the Amazon Sustainability Accelerator (ASA) - Climate Tech programme, helping to evaluate, pilot, and scale innovative sustainability technologies across Amazon's European fulfillment network.

This role can be also based in other EU cities: Paris (CDG10), Barcelona (BCN10), Madrid (MAD12), Milan (LIN15), and Munich (MUC11).

  • Work autonomously in an ambiguous environment, seeking to understand business problems, automation limitations, scaling factors, boundary conditions and reasons behind leadership decisions
  • Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks (before they become roadblocks)
  • Work with program managers, business leaders and executive team to communicate and impact critical business initiatives
  • Develop, implement, and govern Key Performance Metrics (KPI) reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects
  • Set-up mechanisms to audit and perform necessary course corrections where needed to meet business objectives
