An engineering consulting group in Italy is seeking a Production Team Leader for their Lifesciences sector. The role involves coordinating a team to achieve productivity targets, managing reports, and improving manufacturing processes. A degree in Industrial, Chemical or Biomedical engineering and experience in team management are required. The position offers a permanent contract and health care assistance, along with access to gyms throughout Italy.

What is the challenge?

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Coordinate the Team operators of his own area of competence, with the purpose to guarantee target achievement both in terms of productivity and quality aspects.
• Manage reports related to Team results and be able to explain deviations from the target;
• Anticipate potential criticism related to raw material procurement and be responsible of inventory counting accuracy
• Be responsible for the improvement of manufacturing processes methods
• Provide technical support for plant layout, purchase of equipment, upgrade of equipment, feasibility studies, cycle modifications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Industrial, Chemical or Biomedical engineering
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of AS400 and SAP
• Deep knowledge of Lean Manufacturing methodology and tools
• At least 2 year of experience in managing a team in a production environment
