Jobtailor is seeking a seasoned Production Manager in Milan to lead the full production cycle for fashion garments. You will manage suppliers, ensure quality, timing, and cost targets, and collaborate across design, development, and logistics to meet seasonal schedules.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in fashion production, strong pattern and grading knowledge, and fluent English and Italian. A hands-on, cross-functional leader with problem-solving skills will thrive in this role.

Competenze

• Bachelor in Fashion Production, Textile Engineering, or related field (required).
• 3–5 years minimum fashion production experience.
• Strong technical understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and size grading.
• Experience managing external suppliers and production partners.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English and Italian (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in PLM systems (Centric preferred), Excel, and ERP tools.

• Manage and monitor all aspects of assigned product categories to achieve quality, timing, and cost objectives.
• Oversee and coordinate the full production cycle from order confirmation to final delivery.
• Monitor production progress and seasonal delivery schedules.
• Communicate daily with suppliers to track status, resolve issues, and ensure quality and timing compliance.
• Oversee size grading development and validate measurements and technical feasibility.
• Communicate size, fit, technical, and measurement adjustments to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Technical and Quality teams to ensure graded garments meet brand standards.
• Oversee approval of PPS/TOP samples.
• Coordinate factory visits and quality checks during production and before shipment.
• Maintain production records, timelines, and delivery schedules in PLM and ERP systems.
• Update production tracking sheets and highlight risks or delays.
• Support the Production Manager with KPI reporting on deliveries, cost analysis, and supplier performance.
• Partner with Product Development, Planning, Merchandising, and Logistics across production phases.
• Provide pre-production input on manufacturability, size consistency, and cost alignment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes and efficiency.
