British American Tobacco Italy has an exciting opportunity for a Scheduling Analyst in Trieste.

Responsibilities
  • Planning of raw material, packaging material and product inventory according to the current stock holding policies - short term and long term.
  • Reviewing and updating stock holding policies and stock projections in collaboration with Scheduling Manager, Supply Chain Manager and Finance.
  • Generating and following up on purchase orders and organizing and following up on deliveries with Logistics.
  • Third party (customers, suppliers, distributors) and internal liaising. Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.
  • Tracking, escalating and following up on WOFFs (Write-Off), blocked and slow‑moving stock.
  • Develop daily and weekly production schedules to ensure goods availability. Ensuring continuity of production by effective scheduling of production orders, considering material and semi‑finished goods (filters, cut rags, blends) availability and all other constraints that might impact the stability of work in the Production Department.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial/Process/Chemical Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Preferably 2‑3 years supply chain experience preferably in a planning role (purchasing, production planning, MRP).
  • Proficiency in using ERP systems SAP and APO knowledge, Kinaxis Rapid Response knowledge.
  • Advanced level of Italian and English languages.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and planning skills, attention to detail, result oriented, good customer engagement skills, strong interpersonal and communication skills, autonomy, self‑learning skills, proactiveness.
