A leading engineering firm is seeking a Production Manager in Reggio Emilia to oversee the production process, manage a team of over 30 people, and ensure compliance with quality standards and deadlines. The ideal candidate has a Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical engineering and 3-5 years of relevant experience. Strong skills in production management and safety compliance are essential.

Competenze

  • At least 3-5 years' experience in similar roles, preferably in metalworking sector.
  • Knowledge of Maintenance Process Management is a plus.

  • Coordinate and inspire the production team.
  • Control and optimize resources and processes.
  • Take responsibility for results and KPIs.
  • Critical reading of scorecard indicators regarding Safety, Productivity and Quality.

Position Summary

We're looking for a Production Manager in Reggio Emilia location. The candidate will report to Operations Manager and will be part of the Operations Team, managing the entire production process, ensuring compliance with deadlines and quality standards. Total people managed >30.

Main Opportunities and Challenges
  • Opportunity to work in a dynamic and professional environment, to be part of all the most advanced processes underlying Production and Logistics Management.
  • Integration and close collaboration with different actors and company functions, with a 360 vision of the main indicators and company processes.
Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and inspire the production team, promoting a synergic and goal‑oriented work environment.
  • Control and optimize the resources, promoting improvements in individual production processes.
  • Take responsibility for results and key performance indicators (KPIs), respecting overall efficiency levels, as well as Quality and Service levels.
  • Dos for Work Place Organization.
  • Critical reading of the scorecard indicators regarding Safety, Productivity and Quality.
Job Position Requirements
Education

University master degree – Industrial/Mechanical engineering.

Professional Background
  • At least 3‑5 years' experience in similar roles (Production Manager), preferably in the metalworking sector, in a multinational context.
Hard Skills
  • Essential:
    • Knowledge and application of Safety and Health management system.
    • Advanced knowledge of Production Management processes.
    • Knowledge and contribution to Plant Annual AOP and Rolling Forecast definition (Headcount).
    • Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
    • English – Level Min. B2.
  • Considered as a plus:
    • SAP (Modulo PP) – SAP PDC system.
    • Knowledge of Maintenance Process Management.
