About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead product validation initiatives for our client in their Wearables division in Italy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex product validation programs, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and interfacing with clients to ensure product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end‑to‑end product validation for multiple wearable products, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and execute validation strategies, test plans, and schedules for new and existing products.
- Work closely with engineering, product management, design, and manufacturing teams to align validation activities with product development milestones.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client‑side validation activities.
- Understand client requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful delivery of validated products.
- Lead program planning, risk management, and issue resolution for validation projects.
- Track progress, report status, and drive continuous improvement in validation processes.
- Present validation results and recommendations to senior leadership and clients.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization and externally.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years in product validation, technical program management, or related roles, preferably in the wearables or consumer electronics industry.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple products and validation programs simultaneously.
- Strong client‑facing skills and adept at handling client requirements and communications.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Experience working in a global, cross‑functional environment.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Italian is a plus.
- Preferred: Experience with wearable technologies and consumer electronics, familiarity with regulatory standards relevant to wearables in the EU, prior experience working with Italian clients or teams.
Location Requirement
The position is based in Italy and may require occasional travel within Europe and/or the United States.
