Product Manager - Maternity Leave role at Prima

Are you looking for a new challenge? Fancy helping us shape the future of motor insurance? Prima could be the place for you.

Since 2015, we’ve been using our love of data and tech to rethink motor insurance and bring drivers a great experience at a great price. Our story began in Italy, where we’ve quickly become the number one online motor insurance provider. We’re trusted by over 4 million drivers and are expanding to help millions more in the UK and Spain.

To fuel that growth, we need a Product Manager to join our Website team, working closely with Marketing, Sales, and other business teams across Italy, UK, and Spain. The goal is to maintain the websites, enable conversion and lead generation, support marketing efficiency, and reduce customer support costs. You’ll reimagine how to deliver a top‑tier UX to our customers and enable our internal teams through scalable product solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Define the product: alongside engineering and business teams, create the roadmap and specifications for all relevant solutions to address pain points and opportunities for end customers and internal teams.
  • Product discovery: use web behaviour data and stakeholder input to identify pressing product opportunities, validating ideas through research, experiments, and rapid iterations.
  • Prioritisation and planning: prioritise and plan product development efforts with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Product delivery: collaborate with a cross‑functional agile team to deliver on plans, organising day‑to‑day work and ensuring alignment to common goals.
  • Stakeholder management: your primary stakeholders will be local Marketing, SEO, and Sales teams across Italy, UK, and Spain, as well as other Prima departments locally and globally.
What We’re Looking For
  • Product‑minded: 3+ years of experience building software products with tangible impact.
  • Analytical and pragmatic: break down problems, back up decisions with data, and keep a focus on outcomes.
  • Agile‑savvy: comfortable driving product development with cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments.
  • Clear communicator: convey ideas across disciplines and cultures; fluent in English (Italian and/or Spanish proficiency is a bonus).
  • Adaptable: roll with change, stay curious, and push yourself and your team to keep improving.
  • Tech‑comfortable: have worked with complex systems and can navigate technical conversations with ease.
Nice‑to‑Have
  • Global perspective: experience working across multiple markets or culturally diverse teams.
  • Website tools expertise: experience with third‑party user behaviour tools (e.g., Contentsquare, Google Analytics), content management systems (e.g., Sanity, Contentful, Adobe Experience Manager or WordPress), and AB testing software.
  • Insurance know‑how: familiarity with the insurance industry or other regulated sectors.
Why You’ll Love It Here
  • Work your way: enjoy hybrid working with a mix of home and office days, plus up to 30 days per year working from anywhere.
  • Grow with us: access to learning resources, mentorship, and a growth plan tailored to you.
  • Thrive and perform: private healthcare, gym discounts, wellbeing programs, and mental health support.
