A leading kitchen appliance manufacturer located in Italy is seeking a Product Manager for Hoods. The role involves supporting product category management, analyzing market data, and collaborating with various departments. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in the home appliances sector, particularly with hoods, and strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Windchill and ERP systems will be beneficial.

The Company has been active since the 1970s under the chairmanship of Francesco Casoli. Over 3000 employees play their part in helping us produce about 17 million items a year between hoods and electric motors. Our production platform centres around five countries including Italy, Poland, Mexico, India and China and makes us the outright leaders in the world in the sector of hoods and among the leaders in Europe in the design, production and distribution of electric motors for hoods and heating system boilers.

We are currently in the process of recruiting a candidate to cover a position of Product Manager – Hoods.

MISSION

He/She supports the direct manager in the product category management in line with corporate strategies, promoting it towards the market and combining it with its needs.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

• Analyze and summarize market data, competition, consumer insights and performance data (Sell in, Sell out)
• Support the Direct Manager in defining the medium/long-term product roadmap
• Support the Direct Manager in defining new product ranges (short term) complete with product requirements (Features/Value Proposition/Economics/Launch Timing) in collaboration with Sales dept. and Commercial Marketing
• Summarize the objectives, requirements and economic values of the new product initiatives in a Business Case to be approved in the appropriate meetings
• Collaborate with the R&D team for the development of new products, agreeing on the most suitable solutions to satisfy the project requirements
• Support development projects for purchased products, relating to suppliers and integrating their activities into Elica processes
• Collaborate with other Marketing Dept (Content Creation, Digital, Brand, Trade) in order to realize product communication material
• Collaborate with Sales dept (for brand and occasionally OEM initiatives) in proposing products to customers through presentations and trainings
• Manage the life cycle of products from phase In to phase Out, proposing corrective actions aimed at greater efficiency of the category itself (refresh, rationalization).

Requisiti

• At least 5 years of previous experience in home appliances’ sector is mandatory (specifically in the hoods category)
• Good knowledge of Windchill and ERP (SAP) will be considered a plus
• Collaboration and Problem solving skills will complete the profile
