A leading beauty company in Italy is seeking a talented Product Manager to oversee the development and lifecycle of their hair care brand. The role involves driving innovative product strategies, managing cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring product launches align with market trends. The ideal candidate has a strong background in product development, marketing, and communication, with at least three years of experience in multinational settings, preferably within the beauty or FMCG industries. Fluency in Italian and English is required.
With a 2-3 years’ experience, the Product Manager is responsible for the development and lifecycle of brand portfolio and its product innovation (innovation, renovation, redesign). The fulfilment of the mission links innovation product development with a strong customer centric approach, aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The PM acts as the voice of the consumer and the orchestrator of cross functional collaboration to deliver value driven solution for the market and professional hair care channel. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development, launch, and lifecycle of a key hair care & beauty brand of Pettenon Cosmetics portfolio. You will blend consumer insights, market trends, and brand strategy to create innovative and high-performing products that resonate with target audiences and strengthen brand equity. You are a bright thinker, able to investigate consumer insights and translate them into concepts and innovative product design, working with cross functional teams and able to coordinate project management around the product development phases end-to-end, from idea phase to market launch. This includes, creating the concept from insight / trend and consumer analysis, seizing the opportunity and identify the growth drivers, initiate the innovation process, briefing cross functional teams and coordinate the project development phases (working with Mktg Research Agencies, R&D, Technical, Operations, Communication, Procurement and Legal depts), as well developing the tools and materials necessary to launch and support sell in / out (POP, consumer leaflet, technical brochures, GWPs, et al) together with the Field education Mgr and Trade Mktg Mgr. Able to structure compelling briefs, effectively manage external design agencies, coordinate internal cross functional project flows, you will drive the brand growth and innovation roadmap. Highly skilled in communication, you will be involved in creating and giving presentations for the external customers, the internal sales force, agencies, during briefs, sales canvass.
