Responsibilities
- Cooperate with local teams to develop and implement ING sourcing strategies.
- Deliver local sourcing category strategy in line with bank strategy and compliance.
- Independently lead procurement processes at local level.
- Interact globally to share best practices and guidelines.
- Initiate and implement sourcing strategy and process (RFQ/RFI/RFP/Auction/contract definition).
- Propose analysis and ensure quality (spend, market, demand).
- Ensure completeness of documentation (contract/RFP/reports, regulation check).
- Collect business needs and challenge technical specifications.
- Define tender documentation and manage tender steps independently.
- Review offers and adapt to internal requirements.
- Challenge internal demand to pursue cost optimisation.
- Approve requests and follow up until purchase order dispatch.
- Supplier onboarding and qualification.
- Prepare contract documentation and coordinate economic parts.
- Identify problems or improvements in existing contracts and propose improvements.
- Monitor contract status and plan renewal activities.
- Creation and foster good relationship with suppliers.
- Execute procedures and controls in line with bank policies and regulations.
- Provide support on updating local procedures/policies.
- Perform spend analysis and formulate reports concerning purchasing activities.
- Compile HO/local reports on sourcing activities and results, contracts status, active suppliers.
- Prepare PPT for middle/high management.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years experience in procurement.
- Advanced user of different applications (ERP, Excel, PPT, Access, spend analysis tools, e‑sourcing platforms).
- Knowledge of bank processes and procurement guidelines, procedures, regulations.
- Knowledge of sourcing methods and market best practices.
Technical Skills
- Bachelor/university degree in Economics or equivalent.
Soft Skills
- Team spirit, highly committed, accuracy.
- Pro‑active and problem‑solving attitude.
- Good project management skills and governance.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills at local and global level.
- Very high analytical skills.
- Negotiation skills in Italian and English.
- Proficient knowledge of English.
