Job summary

ABB è alla ricerca di un Procurement Manager con leadership e competenze trasversali per supervisionare attività di approvvigionamento e logistica, assicurando conformità e ottimizzazione di costi e qualità. Si interfaccia con team di ingegneria, prodotto e business line per progetti R&D.

Il candidato ideale possiede laurea pertinente, solida esperienza in procurement e forte abilità analitica, negoziativa e di gestione progetti. Ruolo remoto con possibilità di relocation interna in Europa.

Qualifications

• Laurea in Ingegneria, Approvvigionamenti o campo correlato, forte understanding tecnico.
• Esperienza comprovata in Procurement con gestione fornitori e coordinazione progetti R&D; esperienza in Brand Labeling/ODM/OEM/JDM/EMS è un vantaggio.
• Forti capacità analitiche per ottimizzare costi, catena del valore e valutazione dei rischi.
• Competenze di Project Management con esperienza in metodologie Agile Gate Model.
• Abilità di negoziazione e comunicazione con team eterogenei tra ingegneri, fornitori e stakeholders.
• Risultati dimostrati nell'individuare e onboarding di fornitori competitivi in costi.

Responsibilities

• Attività del Procurement Gate Model, organizzazione riunioni di gate di progetto e creazione/gestione della documentazione di procurement.
• Coordina attività di procurement per progetti R&D; funzione di interfaccia tra tecnologia e product management e team Procurement di Business Line.
• Esecuzione di strategie di acquisto e logistica per ottimizzare costi, qualità e affidabilità dei fornitori.
• Progettazione e implementazione di piani e strategie per sourcing locale di prodotti/materiali.
• Supporto nell'implementazione di tattiche di sourcing locale in linea con la strategia aziendale.
• Applicazione di standard, strumenti e processi di procurement, incluse negoziazioni e contatti per garantire qualità, consegna, costi e sostenibilità.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your experience by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to support professional development.

In this position, you will be reporting to BL BA – Procurement Manager

You Will Be Mainly Accountable For

• Procurement Gate Model activities, arranging project procurement gate meetings as required, and creating and maintaining the project related to procurement documents.
• Coordinates procurement activities for Research and Development (R&D) projects. Acts as interface between the technology and product management project team and Business Line Procurement teams.
• Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.
• Supporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
• Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes including supplier negotiations and Contacts in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and supplier sustainability compliance.

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Procurement/ Supply Chain or related field with solid technical understanding to effectively work between Procurement, Engineering and other teams
• Proven experience in Procurement, with a solid track record in supplier management and R&D project coordination. Experience with Brand Labeling, ODM, OEM, JDM, EMS and manufacturing environments will be considered an advantage
• Strong analytical skills for cost optimization, value chain analysis, and risk assessment
• Solid Project Management capabilities with experience in Agile Gate Model methodologies
• Effective negotiation and communication skills to work with diverse teams including engineers, suppliers, and other stakeholders and Managers
• Demonstrated results in identifying and onboarding new cost-competitive suppliers
