A leading plant breeding company is looking for a Logistics & Planning Coordinator to work full-time in their Forlì office. This role involves supporting logistics management, coordinating a planning team, and working with international suppliers. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience, fluency in English and Italian, and strong organizational skills. A university degree in business management is preferred. The position includes opportunities for analysis and regional planning in an international environment.

Competenze

  • 5+ years of professional experience in similar roles, preferably in international environments.
  • Previous experience with planning import-export operations and customs procedures is required.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and travel domestically and internationally if needed.

KWS Italia S.p.A. is looking to recruit a Logistics & Planning Coordinator (m/f/d) at the earliest opportunity to join their Forlì office for supporting planning and logistics activities in the EMEA (South Europe - North Africa - Middle East) region.

This position is full-time and permanent.

What you can expect in this role:
  • Supporting cross-crop planning and logistics management with a holistic view of the regions of South Europe and MEA.
  • Coordinating and steering the Planning & Logistics team, monitoring the correct execution of processes in terms of planning, documentation and delivery times
  • Working in close collaboration with local and international suppliers and couriers to ensure timely delivery of the products.
  • Preparing and sharing reports and analysis regarding supply chain activities.
  • Ensuring constant and proper communication and support to the production facilities and continuous knowledge exchange.
  • Manage purchase and delivery processes of the goods from the various countries and production facilities, as well as the daily activities connected to the entire supply chain.
  • Taking part in the regional planning process activities in close collaboration with the countries in scope and the regional management.
What you bring in:
  • Previous hands-on experience with planning and coordinating import-export operations and know-how on customs procedures.
  • University graduate, preferably in business management. Non-degree holders with longer-term experience will also be considered for the position.
  • At least 5 years of overall professional experience in similar roles, preferably in International environments.
  • Profound knowledge of MS Office products, with a specific focus on Excel.
  • Good knowledge of SAP is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Italian; French is an advantage.
  • Analytical mindset and efficient organizational skills.
  • Knowledge about the agricultural supply business, in general, is a plus.
  • General understanding of the supply chain processes in an international environment.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods (e.g. first part of the year).
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally if needed.
