Wärtsilä is seeking a Process Engineer to design fuel systems for the marine sector, with involvement from initial design through commissioning at shipyards. The role focuses on LNG, Methanol, and Ammonia fuel supply solutions and requires collaboration with an international team and customers.

The position primarily based in Finland but can also be based in Italy (Trieste) or other listed locations; CCNL Metalmeccanico salary range in Italy is provided as 27 887 EUR – 39 270 EUR per year, with

Competenze

• MSc in Chemical and Process Engineering or Energy Technology.
• Experience with marine/shipbuilding is advantageous.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Experience with process simulation software: AspenTech, MATLAB, AFT Fathom.

Mansioni

• Follow the full lifecycle from design to operational support for fuel systems.
• Design piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID) and select process equipment.
• Perform thermodynamic and pressure drop calculations and simulations.
• Develop operating procedures and technical documents for fuel supply systems.
• Collaborate with international teams and external stakeholders.
