Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Italy seeks a Process Engineer - Extrusion (f/m/d) for our dynamic R&D team in Pinerolo. You will qualify and validate extrusion processes, driving innovation and efficiency to ensure the highest product standards.

The position may also be considered on a part-time basis depending on organizational needs and relevant experience, with travel up to 20-30% for customer and internal team engagement.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred or compensating years of experience.
• Tooling Design Experience: Experience in designing products, tooling and equipment for injection and/or extrusion technologies is required. Experience in machine design is considered a plus.
• Background: Strong design engineering background with knowledge of manufacturing processes and process engineering principles.
• Experience: 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Language Skills: Professional-level proficiency in Italian and English.
• Skills: Strong project management and analytical problem-solving abilities, along with knowledge of scientific and engineering principles.
• Travel Availability: Willingness to travel internationally (20-30%) to engage with customers and internal teams.
