Overview

The Aspire Advanced Practice Provider is a vital part of our clinical staff in our mission to cure patients who suffer from allergies and sinus problems. They will deliver a memorable experience for our patients with each interaction, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction are top of mind. They will practice precision in providing allergy testing and treatment to patients 2 years old and above, share responsibility with the team to keep the clinic running smoothly, and exemplify integrity in all actions.

Locations & Schedule

Primary support at Westover Hills and Bandera clinics, with occasional coverage at New Braunfels, Alamo Heights, and Stone Oak. Clinic hours: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories focused on allergy and sinus conditions.
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests (allergy testing, sinus CT scans, pulmonary function tests).
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, immunotherapy, and procedural recommendations.
  • Perform and assist with in‑office procedures:
    • Administration and supervision of allergy immunotherapy (SCIT and SLIT)
    • Nasal endoscopy
  • Educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and medication use.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately in EHR within 24 hours of visit.
  • Oversee and manage food and environmental allergy testing (Percutaneous and Intracutaneous).
  • Provide pre‑op and post‑op evaluation for surgeon‑performed sinus procedures.
  • Build relationships with referring medical providers and local medical community.
  • Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship rep to market Aspire.
  • Adhere to standard metrics:
    • Testing: 50% minimum threshold
    • Treatment: 30% minimum threshold
    • IOP Conversion: 7% minimum threshold
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Preferred: experience with EMR/EHR systems.
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manually take vitals and maintain effective working relationships with patients and staff.
