A global insurance and asset management provider is seeking a candidate for the Private Assets Reporting role. Responsibilities include preparing reporting packages, supporting stakeholder analyses, and ensuring reporting efficiency. Ideal candidates will have a finance-related degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, with proficiency in MS Office. The position is based in Milan, Italy.

Within GenAM Operations the Private Assets Reporting Area has the main task of analyzing and monitoring Private Assets investments (Private Debt, Private Equity and Real Estate), enhancing processes and delivering reporting for both investors and top management.

The ideal candidate will work on the following activities:

  • Prepare periodic reporting packages (monthly, quarterly, annual) for investors and top management on actual and projections data
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and requests from stakeholders
  • Customize reports based on client requirements
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Assist with automation, reporting, and process improvement initiatives to improve reporting efficiency
  • Manage and develop relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate regularly and directly with fund managers, IT and client services
  • Take ownership for individual projects and process improvements
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in the areas of controlling and reporting or data analysis (previous experience in consulting or asset management firm is a plus)
  • Understanding of and experience with broad range of financial instruments and asset classes (focus on Private Debt, Private Equity and Real Estate)
  • Proactively identifying and delivering improvements to processes
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office, experience with alternative reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
  • Familiarity with SQL or data querying tools is desirable
  • Results oriented with a focus on quality of delivery
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic and team player
  • Strong communication skills and client focused mindset
