The DHC IC design team at ADI is seeking for a Principal Digital Design Engineer to join our growing team in Bari, Italy. You will be able to work together with a global team, who have designed and introduced many successful products that won sockets from top OEM healthcare manufacturers in Europe, Asia, and the USA. We, DHC IC design group, develop integrated circuits for products enabling next generation solutions for Disease Management, Patient Monitoring and Smart Hospital applications. As a Principal Digital Design Engineer, you have proven capability to drive projects across multiple milestones through tape‑out for the development of Application Specific Standard Product (ASSP), from early architecture discussions through hands‑on design‑in (IC and/or FPGA) and characterization support. The successful candidate will work effectively within a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, leading the development of the digital part of new mixed‑signal products with sustainability impact, and collaborating with internal technology groups and potential external technology vendors and/or research organization. Project and/or personnel leadership responsibilities may be assigned to highly qualified and motivated individuals.
Electrical Engineering degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in mixed signal digital design. RTL to GDS2 track record of successful product developments. Experience with full chip verification, regressions, and mixed signal designs. Candidates should have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and the ability to work on multiple projects as required. Strong inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills are required.

The pay range for this position in Italy is €69,300 to €100,350. (base salary) This range may change if you are hired in another location. The stated range may be inclusive of several levels within this role and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role who are not located in the primary location may request the applicable pay range for their location during the interview process if an alternative location is an option. This position qualifies for a discretionary performance-based bonus, the criteria for which are based on company factors and will be shared during the recruitment process. This role may also be eligible for variable compensation, paid annual leave, and supplemental benefits as applicable under local policy and the terms and conditions of employment.
