Allianz Italia in Milano is seeking a quantitative pricing analyst to support the Non Motor Actuarial Office across the full spectrum of pricing analysis. The role involves data ingestion, transformation, and building data science solutions to drive business outcomes.

You will prototype ML models, analyze customer behavior, develop dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement tariffs, discounts, underwriting rules, and renewal processes in Radar Live, using Python, SAS or R.

Competenze

• PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar pricing/actuarial role.
• Strong programming skills: Python, SAS or R.
• Experience with Pandas or SQL.
• Familiarity with ML techniques (gradient boosting, linear models).
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Ability to work independently and engage with stakeholders.
• Tower Watson Suite knowledge preferred: Emblem, Radar.

The Individual's Key Responsibilities Are Listed Below

• Support the data ingestion and data transformation procedures
• Data exploration, transformation and cleaning procedures
• Structuring data science solutions to achieve a given set of business objectives
• Build and prototype analysis and Machine Learning models and support their implementation and deployment in the systems of the company
• Model customer’s behavior based on market and competitor’s analysis
• Implement and enhance dashboards and business intelligence tools to support risk analysis and portfolio management
• Implementation of Radar Base Projects for Impact Analysis/Scenario Testing
• Implementation of the tariff (both Technical and Commercial), discount, UW rules, renewal process in Radar Live in accordance with technical specification provided by Pricing Actuaries, Product Development and Anti-Fraud people
• Doing Research and Development to find new technical solutions

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or engineering)
• 2-3 years working experience in a similar role
• Good hands‑on knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, SAS or R)
• Experience with Pandas or SQL for data manipulation and analysis
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques like gradient boosting machines and linear models
• Passion and ability for data exploration, analysis and modelling in order to design and develop systems to support strategic business decisions
• Preferably knowledge of the Tower Watson Suite: Emblem, Radar
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders

Pursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between € 36.862,46 gross and € 45.000,00 gross. Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement. The final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
