Job summary

Winpart by CFAO Mobility Kenya is seeking a Logistics Technician to safely operate a forklift, move and stack parts, and support assembly lines within the plant. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and accurate documentation of stock movements.

The incumbent will perform daily inspections, coordinate with logistics staff, and assist with general duties on the shop floor to ensure continuous production flow and timely parts availability.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid forklift operator’s license or certification – Class G.
• Secondary level of education completed.
• Ability to work accurately and methodically.
• Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct daily pre-shift forklift inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Unboxing CKD-cases per guidelines and inspecting parts for defects.
• Rack and bin parts in material handling equipment; support assembly as needed.
• Feed parts to line assembly according to schedule and report delays.
• Prepare post-mortems and discrepancy reports for consumed parts.
• Handle hazardous materials appropriately and follow supervisor instructions.
