UL Company in Carugate, Lombardy, Italy, is seeking a Power Distribution Certification Engineer to lead certification projects in the Wiring Devices segment, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality for clients. You will collaborate with an international team, apply UL requirements, prepare datasheets and reports, and communicate results and timelines clearly to clients.

This role offers exposure to energy distribution technologies and safety science, with opportunities for professional growth

Competenze

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, preferred. Master degree or bachelor (fresh graduated as well).
• As alternative, high school diploma and minimum of 3 – 5 years of related work experience, with knowledge about electrical industrial products.
• Passionate about energy distribution, testing of power products and seeing new technologies as a motivating challenge.
• Experienced with the utilization of Electrical Test Equipment.
• Experience with Testing and Certification services would be a strong asset.
• Written and verbal English language skills.
• Excellent communication skills and strong client focus.

Mansioni

• Examines samples for compliance with UL requirements and notifies client of any areas in which the product is not in compliance or of any changes in project scope or specifications.
• Determines project scope, develops a preliminary plan of investigation.
• Establishes appropriate test programs by reviewing files and manufacturer's information, examining samples, and applying UL requirements.
• Assists in resolving engineering issues related to safety, quality, capability, capacity, speed or cost.
• Learns to analyze and report on the acceptability of the variations.
• Prepares datasheets, test instructions, and descriptive reports.

• Projects may include travel to conduct or witness tests at client sites.

Total Rewards

• Annual salary range: EUR 38. gross (determined by numerous factors, including knowledge, skills, and experience).
• Annual bonus up to 5% of annual salary.
