The Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genova invites applications for a Robotics Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team focused on space robotics research within the LILO project. You will design and test robotic manipulators for orbital applications and contribute to mechanical, control and software development in a cutting-edge environment.

Ideal candidates hold a PhD in robotics or related fields, have hands-on lab experience, a strong publication record, and excellent English

Competenze

  • PhD in Robotics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics or related fields.
  • Documented experience in mechatronic system design and test.
  • Strong publication record.
  • Hands-on experience in a technical laboratory setting.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.

Mansioni

  • Design and develop robotic arm systems for space operation.
  • Contribute to mechanical, control and software development activities.
  • System integration and testing.
  • Support simulation, prototyping and validation phases.
